One argument in three movements. The heavens declare the glory, the light is received in a dark room, and a city set on a hill shines it back out. Each diorama is painted in layers that move to its own song: press play and the album walks the whole arc, or move your cursor for depth while the rooms wait.

Five painted layers, one landscape, and every layer of creation answers a different voice in the music: the stars twinkle to the shakers, the North Star flares on the log drum, the mountains breathe with the bass, the baobabs sway to the melody, and the ground under the walker holds still, because somebody is standing on it.

II · sound: How He Loves
The world turned inside out: now you are inside the dark room the light enters. A great window whose tracery is the North Star Cross, and the music entering as light. The wide beam swells with the deep groove, the side beams answer the melody, the dust dances to the shakers, the floor pools bloom on the drum. The window never changes, and neither does the kneeling figure, because stillness is the right response to this much light.

III · sound: Ordered Steps
The heavens declared. The light was received. Now it shines out. The city holds still and its windows do the living: the lower halls glow with the deep groove, the mid town answers the melody, the high small lights flicker to the shakers, and every window the music touches is one the engine found by reading the painting itself. On the road below, a traveler carries a lantern that blooms on the drum. His steps are ordered toward the city.
