A luminous armoured figure of light in matte bone-cream plate and a deep blue gold-edged drape sits on the weathered plank steps of a mountain farmhouse porch at night, an acoustic guitar resting across his knees. Beyond the porch rail, layered Appalachian ridgelines fall away into a vast star field. High above the furthest ridge burns a single four-pointed gold North Star Cross, and its white-gold light is the only light in the picture, falling down the mountainside and across the porch boards.

Made with Suno, September 2026. The first eight takes are Appalachian and acoustic, fingerpicked and close-mic'd, with a dobro and a mournful fiddle answering the lines. The second eight are the same eight songs again, banjo still in the mix, now over a four-on-the-floor kick and a wide supersaw drop. The lyrics never change between them. One cover for the whole record.
