Holy Spirit, Lead Me On

One prayer, eleven ways. Paul turned back in Mysia, Philip sent down the desert road, and a chorus that only ever asks the same thing.

A narrow pale road winding through deep midnight-navy hills at night, arriving at a fork. The left branch fades away into darkness; the right branch is filled end to end with warm white-gold light and climbs toward a wide golden dawn breaking over distant mountains. A single small flame of gold light hovers in the air at the fork itself, above the lit branch. No people.

Made with Suno, September 2026. The lyric never changes: two accounts of the Spirit leading a man out of harm’s way, and a chorus that only says Holy Spirit, lead me on. The treatment does, from the folk neo-soul take it started as through UK garage, lo-fi, cinematic amapiano, balearic house, future bass and robo house, then the whole song again in Mandarin, Korean and Amharic. One cover for the whole record.
