In the middle panels one strains to drag a huge wooden plow up a steep slope under a storm cloud while the other rides a wave of golden light, laughing. In the last panel the surfer stands beside a mountain of harvest and the plow-dragger beside a single small carrot, staring with a question mark over his head. — Activate God’s Favor
Two people set out on the same path. One drags the plow uphill. One is carried on water God is moving. The harvest at the end does not match the effort, which is the whole point.

A crayon comic strip. A crowd argues furiously over a stone well while one calm figure waves and walks away. He digs a new well alone in an empty field. In the last panel the crowd stands over their dry well in cracked earth, turning to stare at his green, watered land in the distance. — Same Famine
Isaac lets the crowd keep the disputed well and quietly digs another. In the same dry year that empties theirs, his field runs green. Nobody can explain it.

The same person, two routes. One is uphill in the rain with a plow you were never handed. The other is moving faster and not straining, because the weight is on the right shoulders.

One small ordinary figure stands smiling beside an enormous mountain of fruit and vegetables under a heavy fruit tree, surrounded by a crowd of baffled onlookers holding clipboards and measuring tapes, some scratching their heads, with a small chart on the ground showing a tiny bar beside a giant one. — It Doesn’t Add Up
They arrive with clipboards and measuring tapes to work out how the numbers happened. Nothing in the résumé explains the harvest. That is what favor looks like from the outside.
